FIT FOR A PRINCESS

Recently I had a little soiree and the theme was 'fit for a princess' mainly as an excuse to wear this gorgeous Alexander McQueen ensemble, I hired the most amazing mismatching vintage tea set from The Crockery Cupboard, a sweet little hire company based in London town. I was very tempted to keep it all but then I guess nobody else would have a look in and I do like to share the love.

So darling aren't they? If (and this is a humongous if) I ever got married this is what I would use for the table settings with monogrammed white linen tablecloths and huge bunches of peonies in different shades of pink.... anyway a girl can dream!

Of course the best excuse for a party is pressies and these are some of the gorgeous things I was lucky enough to receive and of course they all fitted with the theme!

HATS OFF

I spent this weekend with friends, eating, shopping, eating some more, you get the picture. I wore Karen Walker the whole time, her designs are so easy to wear and the woolly hats help with the autumn chill. Sonnys been wearing a few hats this weekend too as he discovered a lovely new label Brixton hats and inspired by the stunner in the catalogue picture looks like I'll be nicking a few to wear myself!

PERFECT PUCCI

So today I am glamming it up and snuggling down in Emilio Pucci -daaarling
(I feel like I have to say daaaarling after every sentence when I wear Pucci, I have no idea why)



so anyway as I said I'm wearing Pucci today - daaarling. I'm loving their autumn winter collection. Something about the geometric shapes and oversized jewels I guess...




...and the whole fashion drama that's going on in the ads...



...oh yeah, and it's also made me want to go skiing. Something I never thought I would do but I suppose anyone whose anyone is doing it these days... and it would finally be the perfect opportunity to use this rash purchase I made at the beginning of the year (the first sniffs of the credit crunch put me into a panic and I needed a shopping fix!)
