Instant Gratification

I have always been a fan of old school photography. You know the sort; the one that involves taking a leap and committing to pressing the shutter button and seeing what fate has dealt you instead of composing 100 shots on your phone and picking the best. Some don't always work out but the ones that do seem to be more special somehow. Perhaps it's because you have the actual photographs in your paws to show friends or put on your noticeboard? 

Anyway, you can imagine my excitement when the beautiful peeps over at Lomo HQ were sweet enough to send me my very own Lomo'Instant Montenegro camera. Yes that's right; instant! How pleasing. And made by LOMO - the experts of fun. It's as if they've taken the old Polaroid format and introduced it to Henry Holland. PARTY TIME! There are different lenses to play with, long exposure settings, multiple exposure settings, colour gels, a splitzer for playing with the composition and even a tiny mirror for checking your makeup (OK I lied, that ones for selfies) Of course I used up the two packs of film that came with it in about 10 minutes (warning - its addictive) but I have a stack on order. I'm planning to take it to the next party I go to as I just know everyone is going to want to get in on the action.

Fifi Lapin X Boots - The perfect gift for Christmas

Darlings! I have been so busy attending what feels like every single show at NY, London, Milan and Paris Fashion weeks that I haven't had a chance to stop and update my blog with the most exciting news ever... My makeup and stationary collection for Boots is now available in store and online - Yay!

I popped (or should I say hopped) into my local store just yesterday with a few friends and a bottle of champers to see it on the shelf. The staff did think it rather strange to see a little soiree going on by the gifting aisle, let alone one that involved a rabbit, a cat and a hare. Hey ho, I was just so excited to see it all I had to celebrate it somehow!

Sneak Peek - Boots & Fifi Lapin collaboration

I am so excited today to announce my latest collaboration. I have been working on this for what feels like an eternity and finally I am able to tell you guys about it! 

This is the first sneak peek of my new Makeup and lifestyle gift range with Brit high street icon Boots. As I'm sure many of you are aware every year Boots make the most fabulous ranges for the Christmas season and this year you'll be able to pick up some Fifi Lapin goodness alongside all the other lovely smelly's and stocking fillers.

Fifi Lapin Brooches

As I mentioned in my last post I'm super busy at the mo playing shops. It's really is so fun creating lovely new things for you my gorgeous Fifi fans. Here are my latest additions, two new brooch designs based around my best selling charms. Made of gold plated enamel they measure 4.5cm tall and have a lovely heavy feel to them. You can also pick up a matching print which I will show you in my next post. The shop will be reopening mid September, not long to go now!

Camera Girl Print

Hi Fifi Fans,

I've been so busy this week I haven't even had time for even the incy-est shopping trip. The main reason is I took delivery of a whole pile of delicious new prints and have been signing, photographing, collating and tapping away at my MacBook to get them ready for my online store relaunch mid September. I'll be sharing a few of the newest goodies before then like this lovely print 'Camera Girl' which is one of my faves. I have new charms too and ...drumroll... the brooches are back! Hope you love everything as much as I do.

The Banana Dress

Today I'm wearing a vintage 80s banana print dress, D&G spectacles and my brand new camera. I'm hopping out to take a few snaps of my cousins newest brood. There's hundreds of them so I'm going to be pretty exhausted by the end of it and may just have to treat myself to a paw massage at Grace Belgravia. Daddy just treated me to membership and I'm already addicted to their veggie patch smoothies. I guess that wasn't his actual reason for getting me in but the cafe is halfway to the gym so I'm almost there!

Drum-roll, My fabulous collection in collaboration with Mamas & Papas for all the mini Fifi fans out there has officially launched! My goddaughter Mae Tuzi is doing a wonderful job modelling two of her favorite pieces; the Fifi Lapin neon speckle sweater and the Fifi Lapin silhouette leggings - just perfect for a full day of play ...Or a full day of shopping with Auntie Fifi!
