Darlings, these last few days I have been utterly low. I am officially in mourning. After the announcement that Luella has lost her financial backing therefore putting the very existence of the label in jeopardy I could hardly get out of bed let alone face choosing what to wear. Stella has been my constant companion, resting her little head on my paw and giving me the most solemn looks it's as if she understands my pain (Or she could just be desperate for a walk?!) Sonny came round today on the request of my housekeeper and tried to rouse me with some of my favourite carrot cupcakes from The Magnolia Bakery via Harrods. But even a whiff of cream cheese frosting couldn't tempt me out.... oh woe is me!

p.s. whilst in my pit of despair I was browsing the interwebular and came across this which raised my spirits just enough to have a little nibble on said cake. It tasted so divine that I scoffed the lot, whoops!
