like a circle in a spiral

Went to a rather marvelous wedding at the weekend and I got such a good response from this outfit that I decided to revisit the the rather marvelous Viktor and Rolf spring collection. I know Viktor and Rolf is a unusual choice for a wedding but it did say 'look gorgeous' on the invite. Sonny thought I succeeded. Though he preferred it later on that night when I had to take off the stockings due to the heat generated from the dance floor marathon! He said they reminded him of the time he offered to help his aunt with her crazy paving. He dropped a slab on his paw leaving him with the childhood nickname Hopalong... he so shouldn't have told me about that... serious ammunition for the next time he tries flirting with a table of single ladies he gets seated with! =;x)

Phew the party marathon continues. I’m just itching to just do some of those simple things that make life sweet, walking the dog, curling up in front of a classic film, having tea and cake with a friend… I loathe to say it but I am starting to sound like my mother! Tonight I am rebelling against my lethargy and am donning this spectacular creation from Viktor and Rolf, I’m determined to make an impact and will be flirting with all the paparazzi!

I’m off to a purple party. I loathe these sort of things usually as I really hate being told what to wear but I’ve had this gorgeous chiffon Rodarte dress hanging in my wardrobe for a while now waiting for an excuse to be worn. The trend for skyscraper shoes doesn’t seem to be dwindling any time soon. I feel like Bambi!

Too many carrot cocktails last night… It’s Sonny’s fault. I didn’t go near the bar, he just kept handing them to me, what’s a girl to do? Trouble is I’ve got commitments for the next three nights so I am going to have to perk myself up somehow. I’ll take Stella for a walk in the park in a bit. Hopefully the fresh air will revive me. I’ve already picked out this pale peach and black Christopher Kane dress so I need to get some colour in my cheeks or I will literally disappear underneath all the flesh tone and squiggles!

I’m off to an art show opening this evening and thought I should dress up (any excuse) the look I’m going for is kooky and interesting. Hopefully this Basso and Brooke outfit will help me live up to that. The shoes are terrifyingly tall but I figured I must suffer for my own art!

It was lucky I postponed lunch until today. I don’t know what I was thinking even considering turning up at Harrods tea rooms to meet my Grandmother in denim, let alone super tight denim with designer rips – even if it is the height of haute couture. Thankfully Grandmother approved of my Chanel ensemble, anything Karl Largerfeld does is a work of art to her. I’m pretty sure she has big a crush on him!

The fashion editors have been rocking this Balmain jacket all season so I thought it was about my time to get my paws on one. It arrived this morning from a certain online chic boutique and I spent a good hour admiring myself in the mirror and another good hour trying to squeeze my tush into the super skinny jeans. Luckily for me they are meant to have rips because I feel as if I might make a few more any minute now. I’m supposed to be having lunch with my grandmother but I am going to have to cancel as there is no way I can eat lunch or I might pop!
